GEC Consulting provides independent technical support across three areas: GIS, meaning digital mapping and location data; CAD, meaning technical site drawings; and environmental permitting. Work is delivered for municipalities, environmental firms, and private clients alike.

GIS & Mapping

Building and organizing digital maps and location-based data, from a simple parcel map to a searchable web map that staff and residents can use on their own. This includes site analysis, such as figuring out where something should go or what's located nearby, using ArcGIS Pro along with drone-based data collection.

CAD Drafting & Design

Technical site drawings for civil engineering, site planning, and permitting projects. These are the precise, to-scale drawings that engineers, surveyors, and reviewing agencies require before a project can move forward.

Environmental Consulting

Field assessments and permitting support for land and waterfront development. This includes identifying wetlands on a site, confirming a project meets local code, and handling the paperwork for state and federal permits, including FDEP and the Army Corps of Engineers.

Surveyed a waterfront site and produced the CAD site plan showing shoreline setbacks and construction limits, then used that drawing to secure permits from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
